We work with a select group of clients to assist them to achieve their goals. These might include the commercialisation of a new product or service. Or it could be the improvement of operational efficiency. The common thread is always the need to build and balance human and capital resources to achieve a desired outcome.
Capital Formation
Many of our clients need to access capital at various stages of their business development journey. Funds may be needed to support R&D activities, the commercial launch of a new product or service, the build-up of necessary human resources or the support of natural business growth.
The issue is often one of investment readiness. We work with clients to help them stand out from the crowd and develop target lists of potential investors. We also work on investor pitch documentation, the crafting of investment terms sheets and investor due diligence.
Executive Support
Sometimes a client simply needs short term executive support during a period of high intensity activity or to cover an unexpected senior executive loss.
We have extensive senior executive experience in both the private and public sectors, and can fill resource gaps on an ad-hoc basis. We also have access to a number of thoroughly vetted independent contractors who are happy to work under our supervision.
Corporate Advisory
We work with the full range of businesses – from start-ups through to listed companies across a wide range of business sectors. We might assist in the preparation of a business plan, the global analysis of a market opportunity, or the management of a product or service launch.

PETER BARTLEET
Peter works with emerging companies to develop robust commercialisation strategies. He assists them to become investment ready and raise the capital required to develop products, services and markets. He’s an experienced ‘C-level’ executive in both public and private entities, with broad venture capital/private equity experience. Peter loves to think outside of the square and focuses on delivering creative solutions and strategies to Paprika’s forward thinking clients.
With several years experience as an Investment Manager with an Australian VC, Peter has a deep understanding of where and how to access investment funds.
Holding a Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Hons) from Melbourne Uni, Peter’s journey includes a 16-year stint with the international PA Consulting Group. This time included six years in Singapore as Managing Director of PA’s operations across the ASEAN countries.

Agribusiness
We support the growing regenerative agriculture movement though our long-term involvement with the Paragon Agricultural Group. Paragon is focused on the development and certification of a range of Australian premium beef products and is applying Australian IP to ensure product integrity. We’re also active supporters of Carbon8 which recognises the nutritional and climate change benefits arising from the increase in carbon content of our soils.
Life Sciences
We have a strong background in the commercialisation of health-related products and services, from early-stage biotech initiatives to the development of global markets for health sector related products. We work closely with a US Wellness Group which uses technology and data to optimise health naturally.
Renewable Energy
“Green” is the word and we are working with groups developing energy related projects on a global scale. Many of these projects support the application of emerging renewable energy technologies developed in Australia.
Sport & Media
Our portfolio of clients in this sector generally focusses on the integration of the advanced application of AR and VR technologies. Our clients support participant skill assessment and development, the enhancement of sports viewer experiences and assist e-sports players to monetise online gaming skills.
Fintech
Our work in the fintech sector is focussed on the development and application of specific solutions to reduce investment risk and to maximise returns. We have been successful in introducing our clients to global market expansion opportunities, and we work closely with a FINRA registered broker/dealer based in New York.
Middle East
We have well established and direct relationships with several Middle East family offices. We focus on seeking investment opportunities and providing access to Australian products and services, of potential benefit to Middle East economies. Food security and autonomy across the Region is high on the priority list.
